Special Note: WorldShare 70th Anniversary 2013
In 2013 WorldShare reaches the age of 70. Back in 1943 a great many very different people and experiences came together to bring this vision to reality. Their first task was to assist evangelists and Bible teachers throughout China, and to send 'preaching bands' to unreached and remote regions - usually the first Christians ever to visit those communities. A high percentage of the early WorldShare workers and their disciples were martyred or imprisoned when the Communists came to power.
Throughout 2013 we will be telling the amazing story of the last 70 years, during which WorldShare has served tens of thousands of churches and communities worldwide.
