Jamille goes to the EMAF Daycare Centre in Boipeba, Brazil. Her mother is a cleaner and her father is a fisherman. She works hard and is gentle and needy. She doesn't speak very much. Her family goes to church now and again.

Lunga goes to Grace Christian School in Siyabuswa, South Africa. His mother is not able to look after him owing to health problems. He is cared for by his grandmother who has to look after other children also.

Srabonti Lives in the state of West Bengal, India. Her father, who is partially blind, pulls a rickshaw van. She attends the Children's Bible Club. She enjoys playing with her friends. She would like to be a nurse.
