MYANMAR Word of Hope Orphanage is located in the township of Insein on the outskirts of Yangon. 45 children live here and attend a local school. In addition to providing a safe home for children who have either lost one or more parents or whose parents are not able to care for the children themselves, Word of Hope helps the older children into training and employment. Some children have gone on to Bible College, others to engineering and so on.

GUATEMALA America Latina Schools and Ministries provides primary and secondary education in Guatemala City and Chimaltenango. Graduates leave with either sufficient academic qualifications to enter university, or highly sort after vocational qualifications. America Latina graduates are highly sort after by Guatemalan employers.

INDIA Jatiyo Kristio Prochar Samity (JKPS), are based in West Bengal, around Kolkata (formerly Calcutta). Beneficary families are amongst the poorest in Indian society. Many parents earn very little as rickshaw pullers, domestic servants and similar low status jobs. Families in receipt of ChildAid sponsorship have been known to earn less than £20 per month.
MALI Tahanint N'Massinag E Tinbuktu (TNT) are based in the semi-mythical west African city of Timboctu. Children are mainly from Muslim families. Life here is hard for any one, on the edge of the Sahara desert. It is even more difficult to share the Good News of Jesus Christ in a setting which is so hostile to the Gospel.
BRAZIL The Evangelical Mission for Assistance to Fisherman run daycare centres in two coastal communities. These provide safe, caring pre-school environments, allowing poor parents to earn a living, whilst knowing that their children are well cared for. The centres also acts as community bases for medical and dental care and for sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.

SOUTH AFRICA HIV/AIDS destroys lives and families. Grace Christian School provides high quality education in the community of Siyabuswa. The school also provides a home for around 60 children who have lost one or more parents through HIV/AIDS. Some of the children are HIV+ themselves.
