Show LUMO

LUMO tells the story of the victims of rape in eastern Congo's long-running civil war.

Each year thousands of girls and women - from babies to grandmothers - are violently abused, leaving terrible physical and emotional wounds.   Often, their husbands, families and communities reject them afterwards.

LUMO tells this tragic story through the experience of one girl, as she finds help through the loving care of our partners at HEAL Africa.

This wonderfully-made feature film is available for showing in churches, schools or other groups, or in local cinemas. It will interest Christians and non-Christians.

But please note that it has a '15' certificate and is not suitable for younger children.

We will happily come and show LUMO in your community. We will provide the projection equipment and leaflets. All you have to do is invite and audience!

There is no cost involved in showing LUMO, though we do ask that a collection for the work of HEAL Africa be taken.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Here is over an hour's-worth of moving, powerful testimony. This is a major opportunity to impact your friends and colleagues concerning one of the greatest tragedies of our time. LUMO shows that there is hope, if we put our concern and our action together to bring peace and change.

Please contact us on info@worldshare.org.uk if you are interested in arranging a showing.
