Other ways to give

You can give to WorldShare in a wide variety of other ways:

  • one efficient way is giving directly from your wages or salary.  Under the Give as You Earn scheme, your employer gives the funds from your salary BEFORE you pay tax - so you don't pay tax on it (and if you wish, you can increase your gift to reflect that).
  • you can give land, buildings (including houses) or shares to WorldShare and sometimes again lower your Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax bill.
  • you can leave a gift to WorldShare in your will. This means that your desire to help people in need can carryon for months or years after your death. You can give a specific sum, or a proportion of the assets you leave behind.

WorldShare is also glad to receive gifts of jewellery, stamp collections or other valuable items, which can be sold for the benefit of our projects.
