Macedonia MMB Kumanovo Bible College
BANGLADESH FACTORY COLLAPSE: More than 1,000 people died when a garment factory building in Dhaka collapsed. This tragedy, the worst of its kind, has highlighted the exploitation faced by thousands of young women, and girls as young as ten, who risk their lives every day working in hazardous conditions. WorldShare partners in Bangladesh are stepping up their work to bring about a sea change in the circumstances which force young women away from proper education and into these huge garment factories. Girls like Laizu now have access to wide-ranging education and life skills training. white white

NEW MACEDONIA BIBLE COLLEGE BUILDING NOW IN USE
The new building for the first evangelical Bible college in Macedonia, a republic of the former Yugoslavia, is now in use following the main construction phase, with some finishing work still needed. The strategic new Bible college/church facility is located in the city of Kumanovo, close to the country's northern border with Serbia. The project is the culmination of several years' development work involving our local partner, Macedonian Mission to the Balkans / Evangelical Church of Macedonia.i The in e

INDIAN PASTOR'S 'NEW TESTAMENT' CHURCH PLANTING PRINCIPLES
Many western missionaries left India a church planting model that presents three challenges: skilled workers; money to pay them; and church buildings.
"This model is so prevalent in India that many church leaders do not believe the New Testament church planting principles," observes our partner, the Church Growth Association of India. "As a trend-setter in church planting we try to prove NT principles are unchanging. Pastor V- in Odisha (Orissa) took the challenge of trying these principles. After four years of 'unlearning' (very challenging, not yet over) and learning, he has created a model of church planting without getting any regular financial assistance from anyone. He has planted 35 churches. Last year alone he baptized more than 600 people in villages where sporadic persecution continues. He has 120 'full time workers', and another 30 volunteers. None of them receive a salary. Most of them are Koya tribe and exist below poverty line. One of the reasons for his success in that the pastor uses the local church for the community development."

Bibleverses...                                                                                                      If

"I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
Philippians 1: 3 (NIV)

If you do away with the yoke of oppression,
with the pointing finger and malicious talk,
and if you spend yourselves on behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like noonday.

The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
Isaiah 58: 9-11 (NIV)
