Indian society is developing quickly, and a thirst for acquiring knowledge in different fields of study is growing among young men and women. Even non-literates are showing an increasing interest in learning.
EMOS teams are serving both literates and non-literates and find themselves often in need of Bibles and related literature.
This project will supply copies of the Bible in different languages and purchase or produce pamphlets that help to promote the spread of the Good News through the EMOS teams and volunteer evangelists.
In addition to evangelism, the EMOS trainees themselves will treasure their personal copy of the Bible for their own spiritual growth and for preparing Gospel messages for evangelism among different people groups.
New believers will have access to Bibles and other Gospel literature for continued sharing of stories from the Scripture.
"The presence of the Bible in every new believer's home will be like living water from which the people can draw to quench their spiritual thirst," said EMOS leader Dr. Selvaraj.
"Also, new churches planted will become Bible-based and Christ-cantered from the beginning. More than human words, we believe God's Word will speak to people's hearts and bring spiritual revival and transformation in families and communities."
Gifts to this project will provide 175 Bibles and 1,250 copies of other Gospel literature.
