Grace School has 530 pupils and is planning to increase to over 1000 pupils in the next 2 years.

The safety of the children is of the upmost importance. There are always a number of minor illnesses, and small accidents in the classroom or playground, which need first aid. Also it is important that health profesionals can examine the children and spot any more serious issues at an early stage.

For this reason, we plan to build a well-equipped First Aid facility at Grace, able to give immediate care, and to promote good health and hygeine amonst all the pupils.

At the same time, the First Aid staff will work alongside caring staff who can offer a listening ear to children who may have problems. Trained counsellors are available for those who need help.

This facility will also work alongside the committed prayer team which operates every day to cover the school and every pupil with regular intercession.

In order to adapt and equip the rooms available for a First Aid facility with examination space and two beds for short-stay patients, we need to raise funds for furniture, medical equipment and storage cupboards.

This is a major step forward for the school, and will also be an example to encourage better health care in schools in the surrounding region.
