The churches of Myanmar (Burma) are growing in the midst of great difficulties. New leaders are needed to strengthen the effort, to lead new congregations, and the guide believers wisely to live for Christ in the Myanmar context. These leaders need training from gifted and experienced leaders.
Hope Bible College provides just such a training, and is establishing a positive reputation right around the country. The college - a ministry of our partner Word of Hope - presently has 29 students. Many have spent all they have to travel to the college to learn. Often they have walked many miles to get there.
Students give up much to follow this course. Although they are among the most intelligent and gifted young people, their life prospects will be limited by their decision to serve in Christian leadership. They face a life of continual poverty, harassment and perhaps danger. But all of them feel called to this service.
Please help us to provide for their accommodation and training. It costs just £29 to keep a student at Hope Bible College for one month.
