Grace School presently has 530 students - aged from 7 to 18. For each of them coming to Grace represents a very special opportunity. Grace is by far the best school available in a wide region, and the children are being prepared for university entrance or valuable careers.

Some of the children are AIDS orphans, and some have been street kids. Through their time at Grace their lives and opportunities are transformed, and they have every opportunity to also come to know Jesus Christ.

Parents know that it is important to get their children into Grace School. At the appropriate times of year, there are often queues of parents at the gates waiting to register their children there. Some even camp at the gates for several days, hoping to be first in the queue. Some come from over 200 milies away.

In 2012, Grace will beging a major expansion programme, aiming to double the number of children - to give so many more children the opportunity to have a first class education - to avoid being caught up inthe alcoholism, crime and violence whichis endemic intheir townships.

So that Grace can accomodate more children, we need to build two new double-story classroom blocks. This will give a total of 18 new classrooms, with toilets and offices.  Some of the classroom space will be dedicated and well-equipped science labs - something unknown in a wide region.

Please help many more children in South Africa have a good education.
