As a result of the caste system and religious tradition, women in rural India are often uneducated and poor.
These women often have no access to health care and have received little or no training in basic nutrition and hygiene, yet they are the primary health and nutrition providers for their families and communities.
This project will provide training in health, nutrition, hygiene, and pre- and post-natal care, all interwoven with evangelism and discipleship training to equip women in leadership.
This type of training literally changes lives by improving quality and length of life for women and their families.
Gifts to this project will provide travel costs, food, and lodging for 25-30 women leaders to attend the three-day training.
The full impact of this training is multiplied as women pass on what they learned to others.
