Lebanon FEAL 1

Free Evangelical Association of Lebanon

The Free Evangelical Association of Lebanon (FEAL) brings people to Christ and trains believers to reach their neighbours.

Our local partner in Lebanon is a fellowship formed to spread the gospel throughout the country of Lebanon. It operates under an indigenous board, and is committed to evangelism in the country.

The ministry’s outreach activity includes planting churches, running a camping programme and caring for orphans. Lebanese Christians are also instrumental in reaching into neighbouring countries such as Syria, and Iraq.

Lebanon’s history of conflict and violence makes residents open to the gospel’s message of peace and love. FEAL accomplish their ministry in this turbulent country in a variety of ways:-

  • FEAL has missionaries in Lebanon that serve Iraqi refugees, the Druse, Shiite Muslims and Lebanese. These workers have planted three churches and carry on a variety of outreach ministries.

  • The ministry serves abandoned girls among the Druse population at the Beit El Safa orphanage.

  • A summer camps programme reaches children in the surrounding communities at the same site as well as providing training for churches and leaders.

The ministry is also serving the Arab populations of surrounding nations with the following initiatives:-

  • FEAL has missionaries working in Syria, where a new church has recently been planted. A new church has also been planted in Egypt, and a church and Bible training centre have been established in Jordan.

  • FEAL missionaries in Sudan are working in Khartoum and the Nuba Mountains, and have planted three churches in this war-torn country.
